Similar here. I typically stay up until ~0600-0700Z hoping to catch
a EU signal enhancement on 40 and 80 at their sunrise.
Sometimes I'll pick up a KH6 at that time, but with directional
antennas, I'm typically not looking west. I wake up about an hour
before sunrise (~1030-1100Z) spend a little time on 40/80 looking
for western states (in CQWW) and Pacific/JA/VK/ZL, but am really
just biding time until the high bands open to Europe and I can get
the rate going.
