Just because it will let you does not mean it is necessarily the best way to do
so.

Cabrillo is for transfer of logged contest QSOs to contest sponsors.  The fact
that TQSL can sign some (not all) Cabrillo logs does not mean that's the
preferred way to upload LoTW data.

ADIF is a data interchange format.  I have not heard of one single problem of
someone trying to sign a valid ADIF file and upload it to LoTW.

Finally, if your contest logging application can't export ADIF, how are you
supposed to import those QSOs into an every-day logging program, most of which
gladly import ADIF, and few of which will import Cabrillo?
