After all the great responses, it's starting to favor the HF9V, im just
not to happy about
burying 400+ feet of wire cut into ground radials in the yard,
i don't use a KW just 100 watts and the antenna would be mounted on the
ground in the middle
of the yard, i am on extreamly sandy soil, grass don't grow very well
here as im about 500 yards
away from the ocean,
may be the counter poise kit would be a better option?
TU for sharing the experances with different verticals and help sorting
out the right antenna
for my needs.
