[RTTY] What is right - 45 or 45.45 baud?

While trying to listen for P5/4L4FN the other day, I noticed that MMTTY 
defaulted to 45.45 baud.  I switched to 50 baud to listen for Ed, then was 
wondering whether I should have switched back to 45.45 baud, or if 45 baud 
is indeed correct.
