I have been on the RTTY reflector for over ten years and this is the
first time anyone has commented that the PK-232 was better than MMTTY or
other soundcard software. Richard, I think you'd better recheck your
MMTTY setup as to audio level, squelch, etc, etc. Something is
seriously wrong there.

Could not disagree more. IMO a TNC is the easier setup. MMTTY can be a
frustrating experience to configure, both with the "options" and the
cabling.

It not only surprises me, I'm sure there is some configuration problem
there. MMTTY easily outperforms a KAM, as many on this reflector have
pointed out.
