This happens because DOS and Windows are different. In DOS
I could tell if, or when, the Ctrl Key was pressed (down) on
its own.
In Windows I cannot tell - unless another key is pressed at
the same time.
As you say, Alt-K works OK in both versions, and that's the
best I can do at present.
