Yes, it is the log, but it's not the .LOG file that
you send as your entry - that's created by SDICHECK
from your .ALL file.
For information, SD/SDI also create a separate audit
(.AUD) file which records all QSOs logged or edited.
Should it ever be necessary, there's an option in
SDCHECK/SDICHECK to recreate your .ALL file from the
audit file.
Finally, you can backup your .ALL file to any disk
or memory stick, during the contest, with the DUMP
or BACKUP commands. Both your .ALL and .AUD files
are backed up.
