Here's what SD is supposed to do.  If Winkey is playing,
Esc will stop it (nothing else).  When WinKey is not
playing, Esc clears whatever field the cursor is in.

You're not doing anything wrong - it's either SD or
your keyboard.  Please set up a test file and let me
know if you can reproduce the problem.

Note:  When Esc clears a field, another Esc restores it.
That's a handy feature!
