Hope to be on as /4 from down here in Vero Beach - the "station" antenna
will be a 20M hamstick - but some contest is better than no contest.

Subject: [SECC] CQWW approaching
Hi All...well I just finished my twice yearly training in the simulator
and am now back home...now all my efforts will be focused on the CQWW
SSB test...and I hope that you to will focus on the test...we have had
some sounspots and the Cycle 24 has indeed started...15m has the chance
of being a real surprise this weekend...and the low bands have been
rather amazing.....10m remains a real question mark..it seems that a
full blown contest seems to open the bands a little better than
normal...stations will be cqing on 10m and there might be some
propagation to EU or JA??
I want to encourage you to get on and make some points for the South
East Contest Club.....remember this is one of the reasons you belong to
the SECC...we are a contest club....and this particuliar contest is easy
to participate in...get on ...have some fun...and let us all know how it
went for you next week in the writeups after the test.....thanks to
all...hope you have a great contest. and good luck...de Rick NQ4I
