Here are some statistics to motivate you all to get on for SS. Data is from
ARRL Contest results website :
* With 22 entries on CW this year we are on a pace to beat our 2004 score if we
can
get the same amount of activity on SSB this year.
* Activity went up dramatically last year. Our best club score since 2000. Less
than
100K from winning medium class gavel
* 2001- 2003 was pretty steady averaging around 25 total entries per year and
around 1.9 meg.
2005 Sweepstakes 22 CW -> est score 2.2 meg so far. We can probably expect
between 10-20
entries on SSB based on past years activity.
2004 Sweepstakes 16 SSB + 18 CW = 34 entries / 3,242,676 / 95,372 per entry

Those who get on... try to make 100K this would be 600+ QSO's and a sweep. This
should be easy
