BTW, who ever wrote that the SS CW is next weekend....It is 2 weekends
from today. (Sat). Thanks for the heart attack.
Got the 40 meter rotateable dipole on the tower yesterday. Need to
move it up freq by about 50 kc, but don't know if it's worth the
trouble. For those of you who might be interested, it uses the coils
from a 402-CD, plus a trimmed capacity hat ( 402 had 4 ) and has about
a 200 kc bandwidth between 2:1. Fed with a balun and at 70', the MFJ
reads 50 +j11. Give about 1.3:1 with that combo.
