I don't like the fact that you have to click on the field on the line to
correct. I would rather double and the whole line entry then becomes
correctable. Now you would have to click on 2 fields to correct 2 problems
with an entry.. I haven't used it in a multi environment.. I do find after
having done it a few times it smoother/faster but still not the way I would
prefer.. I just subscribed to the writelog reflector and it is busy.. You
just never know where Ed k4sb is.. He seems to be very active on that
reflector..

My experience with Writelog at PJ2T was horrible. It was much too
difficult to make corrections after the "enter" key had been hit. It
was made worse by the M/2 environment as the log entry was a moving
target as the other station logged QSOs. I found it almost impossible
to make a correction and keep my pileup going. Having to use the mouse
(and it seemed it always took me at least two tries to make it work for
each correction) and having to do it for each portion of an entry (for
example, correcting the call does not correct that zone that is probably
wrong because the callsign was wrong). After you get the callsign
changed, you need to start over again to change the zone. I missed the
zone change a number of time. I left out some QSOs entirely because I
forgot who it was I had worked while I was struggling to change the
entry from an earlier QSO. I always thought I would remember it, but, I
forgot a few. I have no trouble making corrections in NA or CT. You
just scroll up and make all your corrections and scroll back down again.
I think TR is the same as long as it isn't more than 6 QSOs back.

I found Writelog to be a nightmare in a running, multioperator environment.

It is probably OK for single station search and pounce.

73,

John, K4BAI.
