At the opening of the contest we had a very good path to the west coast
on 10M, but nothing between here and there, evidenced by 74 QSOs on 10M
but only 8 multipliers.&nbsp; I probably spent too much time trying to
make something happen on 15M while 10M was still open, but I was afraid
of missing 15M mults.&nbsp; <br>
<br>
Overall conditions were fairly good for August.&nbsp; This is my best
August phone effort, which isn't saying a whole lot.<br>
<br>
I appreciate Don, W4OC moving through the bands with me late in the
contest, giving me my only 6-bander.&nbsp; Other SECC folks included
AA4LR and K4NO.&nbsp; If I've forgotten someone I apologize.&nbsp; <br>

I was pleased to work N1ND, Dan on three bands.&nbsp; It's good to have
someone at ARRL who gets in amongst us!<br>
