Hello all:
Found a CW QRP Contest to be run for two hours on 20 meters Sunday
afternoon that wasn't on the WA7BNM list. It is a new one by an
established club, the Colorado QRP Club. So, if 6 meters isn't open,
give this one a try with a 5-watt rig.
4. The Great Colorado Gold Rush. 20 meters CW. Call: "CQ CGR." (or,
if that doesn't work, " CQ QRP TEST." 5 watts maximum power. 20 to 22
Z Sunday, July 18. Exchange: RST + SPC + Class + CQC Member # or Power
Output. Classes: W = wire. V = vertical. B + beam. P = portable.
Defined on the website. The same station may be worked 3 times as long
as there is 30 minutes minimum between QSOs. 3 points for first QSO
with a station, 2 points for second, 1 point for third. Multipliers are
SPCs and CQC members. QSO points x SPC x CQC members = score. Sounds
like fun to me. http:..www.cqc.org/contests/gold2004.htm.

John, K4BAI.
