Hello all: 6 M was dead for most of the weekend. I worked KU8E and
heard K4PI. Better luck next time, I guess. Thanks to Jeff for helping
me straighten up my 6M quad last Thursday.

Comments:
IC736, 100 watts output, 4 element quad. 6 meters only. Monitored the
band for
most of the weekend, but only a few brief openings heard. Worked about
5 GA/AL
locals, plus KN4Y in North Florida. Heard two stations in TX including
N5RZ/R
(sorry you couldn't hear me Gator). Worked NM, CO, NE, and two stations
in MI.
Did get two new all-time grid squares (or, at least, never confirmed grid
squares) from W0LSD and N8OC. Thanks!
I'd like to see the rules allow (on 6M at least) QSOs on both SSB and CW to
count for the score so as to encourage more CW activity on 6M in contests.
73,
John, K4BAI.
