Don't forget the QRP Spartan Sprint September QRP Contest sponsored by
the Adventure Radio Society. It is tonight (Monday local) from 0100 to
0300 UTC on the usual CW QRP frequencies, 14060, 7040, and 3560. I'd
like to get a GA, AL, and SC QSO for a change! I'll be SO2R, so I
should be monitoring or calling on 40 meters all the time, and will
start the other radio on 20 and move it to 80. 20 meters has been
closing early lately, even to the west coast, witness early band closing
during the CQP this past weekend, when many of us were using high power.
40 meters often goes long early too. We can possibly get the local
states early on 40 and then on 80 later. Exchange is RST, S/P/C and
power output.
73,
John, K4BAI.
