Here are the proposed teams as I have them now:
SECC#1 SECC#2 SECC#3
N4PN NN4F NJ8J
K4BAI K4OD KT4ZB
N4XL AA4LR K1ZZI*
W4SVO NA4BW N4GG*
KU8E K4BK
*K1ZZI and N4GG are not sure they will operate. If they do, they will
count for team #3. If others want to join team #3, we can fill out that
team and Ralph and/or Hal can drop off for this time. At this time, we
still need one more to just fill out a roster.
I think it is interesting that we have two sets of brothers on the
teams: AA4LR and NJ8J plus K4OD and K4BK.
I did my best to set up the teams based on expected time available to
operate, past performance in such contests and when I was advised of
your wanting to be on a team. Please accept my apologies if it doesn't
suit everyone. It is always hard, especially when the numbers don't
come out even.
I will register the teams later this evening, so others can still join
in before the registration. I can change calls of operators or calls to
be used in the contest and change membership on teams and add others to
team #3 until the contest starts at 18Z tomorrow. I will check for
incoming e-mails up until about 17Z tomorrow.
Remember to try to move stations who call you to other bands where their
contacts or multipliers are needed. Call CQ a lot. Remember that
everyone is limited to 100 watts, so there is no reason you won't be as
likely to get answers to your CQs as anyone. Try to work other members
of SECC and of the SECC teams on as many bands as possible. Post your
claimed scores to the SECC reflector and/or the 3830 reflector as soon
as possible after the contest and certainly by Tuesday.
Thanks to everyone for your interest and help. 73, John, K4BAI.
