Newcomers always welcome . . .at the final week of 10, two top spots remain
undecided:
East of Ms. River: N4OGW leads W9RE by just 339 points out of about 14,000
for the six high weeks. But the unusual scoring system requires dropping
the low score and Tor has a larger lower score to drop, making the actual
difference only 275 points.
NCCC Division: N6RO faces a serious challenge from K6VVA, who is just 19
points behind going into week 10. However Ken must beat the Locust by 61
points to compenate for dropping an 80-point higher score compared to K6VVA.
There's a pair of "too-close to call" challenges for 3rd place: In the W.
of Ms River Divsion, where WD0T is the certain winner, both K7SS and N0KK
can knock Bob, W0BH out of the 3rd place spot. In the NCCC Divsion N6ZFO can
be bounced to 4th by Tom, N3ZZ, concluding his first full year in the NS
Ladder.
