Hello all:
SECC member Jimmy Walker, WA4ILO, in Macon, GA is in the hospital in
Macon. He had a mild heart attack last week. He was in the hospital
with by-surgery scheduled for Tuesday, but on Sunday, he had chest pains
and they moved up the surgery. He had four by-passes and a partial
valve replacement. The surgery went well and it was hoped that he would
be out of Intensive Care either late today or tomorrow.
Jimmy is a retired US Bankruptcy Court Judge who is active in contests
and on the Georgia State Net. He has operated at K3LR in CQ WW SSB with
his daughter KI4MTU who was the daytime 40M operator trying to work
Canadians during the daylight hours.
