The inaugural Phone Fray was well attended and fun. 44 posted scores at
3830scores.com and likely double that in terms of unique callsigns in
the event. Winning rate was K9RS at 118/hr. Geographic participation
was good and included KH6 and several VE. Not bad for the first week!
The action started on 15 and moved down a band about every 5-10 minutes.
Here are some of the 3830 comments:
"First Phone Fray and had an absolute blast. (WT2P)"
"Life is good with 30 minute contests! (N6RO)"
"Great activity for the kick off event! (W9RE)"
"That goes by fast! When this takes off, it'll be a madhouse. (KI0I)"
Please join in this Tuesday night, 10:30pm EDT (0230-0300z Wednesday).
