The stock TS-870S has no jacks for separate receive antennas. It does have
two regular antenna jacks (SO-239) with a selection switch on the front
panel. There is a third antenna jack (RCA phono) for running the currently
active antenna to a second receiver. Several people have modified the 870 to
use this jack as a receive antenna jack instead.

I have a request for SECC members...
Can you tell me what type of jack your rig uses for the external antenna
input (e.g. Beverages). Does it also have an antenna out (after the T/R
relay) so you can insert accessories such as preamps and filters for the
receiver, even when using the TX antenna?
My ICOM 765 and previously-owned 745 had a jumper between RX antenna OUT
and IN, both phono (RCA) jacks. Don't have any idea about other brands and
models.
Many thanks!
