on the ic-7800 (not owned by me, btw) use the menus to set the rs232 port to
c-iv transcieve (as opposed to sending demodulated digital data to the
computer), 4800 baud (auto did not work for me), and whatever receiver
address you want. i chose 50, but remember that is in hexadecimal (0x50), so
the decimal equivlant, which is what trlog understands, is 80. then for
radio one, serial one, my config file included:
RADIO ONE NAME = IC7800
RADIO ONE TYPE = IC756PROII
RADIO ONE RECEIVER ADDRESS = 80
RADIO ONE CONTROL PORT = SERIAL 1
