In my business I've learned never to ask, "Why would you want that?"
Everyone likes to operate differently - some like using RIT , some the
second VFO (hence a discussion on the 1000MP reflector). I like having my
radio set up exactly the same way with the same features on, etc. when I
change bands back. If I am running on 40m (RIT on) and do a quick switch to
160 to listen then switch back to 40 I'd hope my RIT would be on. It's not.
It's not a big deal, but I thought I'd ask. TR goes through great pains to
automate things. This just seems like a step backwards. Maybe it's "the
MP's fault"...I don't know. I won't know until I ask.
