Hello TR Users (and abusers):
Here's two points that I noticed with TR over the weekend...Maybe
the problems are user-related as opposed to system-related?
a) Boy, it would be nice to have some kind of reminder before you
exit the program that you still have packet connected! It asks you
about clearing the 5 Qso window...maybe at the same time it could ask,
"Hey dummy, have you disconnected from your packet cluster?"
When I forget (that's a key word!) to disconnect before exiting TR,
I have to restart TR and then disconnect from the cluster.
b) I am using the "input config file" for utilizing the generic
parms within a seperate file; then the contest specific stuff under the
appropriate sub-directory within the C:\LOG\ arena. When I run POST it
never seems to know my call? My call parm is contained within the
C:\TRCONFIG.DAT file, which is the file specified in the "input config
file" parm.
****<<<Thanks, Tree, corner>>>****:
The packet feature, band map, and rig control REALLY make DX
contesting much "easier" especially for the little pistols like me with
verticals and 100 watts.
