[TRLog] Split mode with FT990

Someone (I am sorry - deleted the message) mentioned that the FT990
was defaulting to 160 meters when going into split mode.  

I am not sure exactly what this means.  A quick look at the code
doesn't suggest anything is wrong.

Can anyone give me more data?
