Hi list

The multipliers for RSGB contests are ( where applicable) the DXCC list, except
that all JA,K,VE,VO,VK,ZL and ZS call areas count separately.

Perhaps someone has tackled this before but I haven't seen anything. Thus I
have a model in which ADD DOMESTIC COUNTRY=K ( etc) is added to logcfg.dat, and
then a
n RSGB.DOM file is created with k1=K1, k2=K2 etc etc is created. The relevant
commands to enable this file and the exchange etc,are then placed in logcfg.dat.

So if I work Jack W1WEF and he gives me 599001 I log k1 001 in the exchange
window. If N1BB then calls and gives me 001( and I can remember having worked
W1WEF!)
I just log 001 and so on.

This works very well except that the DOMESTIC QTH is then logged twice, once in
the exchange ( naturally) and once as a mult. if appropriate. This means that I
ul
timately will need to edit out the part in the exchange so as not to confuse
the checkers. It would be nice if this didn't happen, but I can't see any way
to avoi
d it.

Does anyone else see a solution?

It is no big deal as the log will need heavy post contest massage as pts per
QSO depend upon continent.

I hope to try this in the RSGB 7Mhz DX contest tomorrow/Sun, 1500Sat 'til 0900
Sun, 7000 to 7030. Hey giss some points eh?, get yer ears on for my minimalist
sig
nal ;-)). Mult for DX side is post code, e.g. CF in my case.
