Guy, Pete, Bill, folks,
I don't know much about where the font I load gets stored. What I do know is
that under DOS (pure DOS, not a DOS box or window) I can change the font with
a program LOADFONT (a 1994 vintage program) to be quite a range of fonts. The
font remains the same as I run E3 (a DOS editor written by some IBMer), VIEW,
or HELP. The font will revert back to the original system font when I start
TR. When I exit TR the font remains the system font. I can also revert the
font to the system font by issuing a mode command to the console from DOS.
Maybe THIS is what TR does.
I could not find a copy of FONT106, the program by K6STI. I have HEARD that
this one works with TR. I do not know what it does differently.
I appreciate the help of the folks on the reflector.
