Hello to all
I have TS-440S and I would like to use it as second radio with full
controlling by TR log. (First radio is FT-1000MP and there is no any problem
with connecting to PC).
1) Has anybody tried to interface TS-440S and to use it together with TR log
? What have I to do for this purpose?
It seems that a) according to TS-440S manual I have to install the optional
'IC-10 kit' (two microchips)and to connect the additional 'IF-232C
Interface' between the RS-232 terminal of the PC (serial 1 or 2 port) and
the interface terminal of the TS-440S (ACC 1).
b)According to TR log manual I have to write in the .cfg file:
RADIO TWO CONTROL PORT = SERIAL 2
RADIO TWO TYPE = TS440
Am I right? Are there any other requirements?
2) Does anybody know where I can purchase 'IC-10 kit' and 'IF-232C
Interface' (new or second-hand) ?
I have tried to search them in different radio stores but without any lucky.
It seems they are no more in the production.
