Mike, I have an IBM Thinkpad 760XL that was driving me nuts due to "Small
Screen Squint".
With this particular machine, the problem was solved as follows:
Go into DOS, get a C:\ prompt.
do a CD\Thinkpad
then type PS2 HVEXP ON
Presto, the information fills the entire screen!
I found this in some very dark corner of the web. Maybe this, or some similar
switch will
work on your laptop. GL!
