This is for Tom, W3TW, who asked about external tuners for open-wire 
feedlines:
As Vince, K7NA, suggests look up Richard Measures article in Feb. 1990 QST, 
pgs. 28 -32.  I built the balanced balanced-line tuner Measures describes in 
May 1990 & have used it since then.  It works fine on all HF bands as fed by 
ladder-line to an inverted V dipole antenna.  Of course, it works only on 
balanced feedlines--no coax.
