Walt,

You get what you pay for..   With the Alpha,  the quality of parts, and 
protection circuits are better.   While the TT is on the upper range,  it's 
still not the quality of the Alpha, Avcom or even the Henry (sorry they are 
not making amp any longer)  amps.   On the otherhand,  Alpha or Avcom has 
the customer service that TT has.   If I lived close to the TT plant,  that 
is what I would run,  but so far my Alpha 87a has been bullet-proof.

As far as price increases,  I would much rather pay the increases than see 
another American Ham manufactor go out of business..
