[TenTec] Omni 6+ with Kenwood SM-220

I have an Omni VI Plus.  I recently purchased a Kenwood SM-220 station
monitor with a BS8 panadapter.  I would like to know if anyone knows any way
to use the panadapter with my Omni 6+.  Second question-- If I only want to
monitor the received signal how would I go about getting a sampling of the
IF?  Thanks
