Eric has good points on a reasonable approach for the ham to protect his station investment. It is NOT Rocket Science, but applied Ohm's law just with larger currents, voltages, and lower resistances than we are used to calculating. The web sites are there and have been mentioned. ARRL Technical Information Service <www.arrl.org> has nice tutorials for the new to lightning protection ham. -Stuart K5KVH |
