Rick, OK I understand.  However, your statement in this response says the
AUX1 jack accepts 2 V P-P, then you stated that the sound card level is near
minimum.  This raises the question "are you using the sound card line output
to AUX1 or speaker output to AUX1?"  Big difference in levels between the
two.

Secondly, is the 150 mV P-P out of the Argo going into the sound card line
input or mike input?  Again, big difference in level requirements.

Remember the best choice is always "line to line" and "mike to mike" for
signal levels.  Never switch the two, line to mike,  as some form of
attenuation will be required to maintain correct S/N ratio
