James, "which" specifications are worse?
The radios have a lot of specs.
There is a lot more to a radio's specs than Rob's list ranking by DR3.
To compare two radios by specs, I recommend reading Rob's 'FULL TEST REPORT'
for each radio.

Nope... not kidding. Kenwood sells the TS-990 for $8,000, and it has
worse specifications than the $1500 TS-590 - AND GUYS ARE BUYING THEM.
I WOULD PAY $4440 for a radio that beats the Orion II which used to cost
around $4400. Yeah, but it MUST BEAT the Orion II, or I just keep using
mine.
