Excellent points in your reply Rick! Yes, it is a more complex world, and radio buyers would do well to consider the differences between the computer and OS based radios and the self contained digital systems radios, for want of a better term. Some of us would be more comfortable with a fixed set of digital operations, and others may want to upgrade constantly. But, then in the pure radio days, those were probably those people who went from a Collins 75A2 to a 75A4, to a 75S----, etc. -Stuart Rohre K5KVH _______________________________________________ TenTec mailing list TenTec@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/tentec |
