[TenTec] Scout RX noise

Anyone have any experience running HF mobile in a GMC Siera 1500? I am getting 
horrific noise on rx below above 10MHz, the noise blanker wouldn't handle it. 
It's not coming from the power source, taking the coax off and it stops.
Thought some one might know of a common problem with the newer models (this is 
a 2006) of GMC Sierra 15000's
