I used link coupled tuners on my centerfed long wire from 160 through 
2m. Sometimes series tuned secondary, sometimes parallel tuned, and on 
the higher bands parallel tuned and feed line tapped on the coil, where 
it matched. Feed lines varied, mine was 30' high at the ends, 30 to 50 
feet at the middle depending on the decade. Mine was 95m of #10 copperweld.
