Check the B+ (12v) going to the power amp module- this is a weak link and
the connection to it might have been "broken" when you moved the module
(heat sink is directly connected to it, as I remember.)

Based on your limited description:
Sounds like you mechanically open something (path) when grabbing the
sinks or mechanically made them touch something internal in or near
the finals circuitry.
(thats why they are called "finals")
