Or build the antenna from the start in a way, such that it inherently
supports itself.
2 examples:  Hex Beam and Spiderbeam

Another fix for "strumming" of beam elements is to fill them with poly 
rope.  The whole idea is to change the resonant frequency to stiffle 
vibrations.
