My 50+ year old Shure 444 also works great with my Eagle.
It worked fine with my Orion....
And several OM6's, OM5, and a few original OMNIs.

The Omni C needs a Hi-Z mic. Shure 444 works great with the old Ten Tec

but I'm pretty sure it was not a Ten Tec mic. I suspect that a low-Z mic has
a good chance of working. Wire it according to the manual and try it!
