The sub sounds tinny because of the PBT differences. This has always been
the case, even with the Orion I. There is a difference on how the filters
are set in the passband with the sub-receiver. You can make it match by
adjusting PBT on the sub-receiver.
With PBT at 0, and in SSB, the main receiver always has the bottom of each
filter set at 200 hertz. The Sub-receiver sets this to a higher value.
