Vaporware?  I saw the amp referenced in the description, but not in
the price list.

Also, the battery is mounted in a set of brackets inside the radio.
There is some amount of screwdriver activity needed to replace the
battery (obviously, the designer never owned an MFJ-259).

Also, SSB is optional AND extra cost, as is the noise blanker, and
other items.

I sat down with a K2 a few weeks ago at the W5 DX Bash (I think it was
N5CQ's; I'm not sure).  It's a nice radio.  But, I'd hardly put it on
a scale with the Omni VI receiver.  Not having a VI there to compare,
my impression was that the K2 is a nice enough QRP radio and has some
interesting features.  For a fixed station radio, I think I would opt
for a Pegasus.  For a QRP, car-camping radio, the K2 might be fine, if
not expensive--$600-$900 and that's before the 100w amp, whatever it's
cost may be.

It may well be that the Omni V, Delta II, Pegasus are THE mid-range
Ten-Tec radios.
