I have had a sudden loss of power, curable by cycling the power, but not on the latest firmware download. By all reports it usually occurs with the sweep enabled. I don't remember what the circumstances were the last time, but I generally stay on 40 CW and up, with a little SSB DXing if I need the country/band/mode, with the sweep on and the subreceiver muted. Since it has been several months since that problem cropped up, I assume the latest firmware version pretty much cured it. It might be worth while to download, or perhaps re-download, the latest update and install it. 73 Pete Allen AC5E |
