Mark,
My Jupiter has a fuse just below the connector for the DC power connection.

Subject: [TenTec] Jupiter display problem.
Thanks, Rick for the suggestion.
When I said "He says No" I meant that those suggestions did not change the
situation..I am sorry I was not clear.
I offered the power supply, power cord(suggested he put the meter to it and
wiggle it), check all connectors ideas as I , too have seen the connectors
pop off(filters, too-which is why I ship all TT rigs upside down).
None of those ideas has proven helpful in this situation.
I had him reset it multiple times..He says the rig will now transmit, but
screen is very dim..
I have seen no previous queries about the screen being defective(other than
some initial questions as the rig was coming to market)
If I remember correctly, there is no brightness control, just a contrast
control..
We are both being gentlemen, we have no problems between us. The rig worked
the first day and next day it did not.
He will be contacting TT service for advice, perhaps they have seen this
before. Naturally we both hope so.
Is there an internal fuse in the Jupiter? Perhaps it has worked loose?
I dont have the rig to check-is there a fuse?
Thanks a lot folks, I sure appreciate it.
Mark
