I had a Scout from 1995 to 2002. I like it. The CW problem was documented
by TenTec in the early models. No one complained to me about CW drift.
I used it for Field Day for several years, and had no problems in that
environment. Since 2002, I have heard Scouts on the air and did notice
a slight chirp. other than that, they worked fine. Hope others chime
in with their thoughts 73.
