I have 2 Scouts one base 1 nobile and will a Kenwood  MC nic work? If so would 
like to know wiring change or if not what would work well. 73

Yes there are some fixes for the Scout PTO with NPO capacitors.

However, first make sure the band module plugs in snugly on every contact to 
the edge card traces.  Make sure internal grounding screws are tight both in 
the rig and in the band module.  Loosen and retighten to break oxides that 
build up over time in Aluminum.

There were some fixes posted to either this reflector, (see archives), and/or 
QRP-L back 10 or more years.
