I am getting reports that my audio on SSB sounds "Fuzzy with shot noise
on it..." Listening with a separate RX (thru a 2 Meter link from 1 1/2
miles down the road) it sounds like RF floating in with the mike line.
I have the Ten Tec accessory mike (Model 700???), and I am not using a
separate battery, but am getting the mike power from the rig.
It looks like the bypassing on the Mke/PTT/+4V lines are at the boards.
Would bypass caps right at the mike connector clean this up?
Or, has there been a fix for this posted in the past??
Inquiring minds, and all that...
