I'm considering the Class-3 upgrade to my Omni. About a month ago, someone
reported their experience with the digital noise reduction as follows.
They said (approximately) that the NR circuitry produced a dramatic
reduction in noise. However, if a signal was weak, and just barely
unreadable because of the noise, that the NR circuitry did not result in a
readable signal.
Do you agree with this assessment? If so, do you think that the NR option
is worthwhile?
