[TenTec] 220Mhz FM xcvr kit 1230 comments?

I'm thinking about buying the 220Mhz xcvr kit.  Has anyone purchased and
built this kit?  Wondering what your impressions are.  What testing tools
are required?  How long did it take?  How does it operate?
